ABOUT ME
I have been working with high-performing individuals for over 15 years in the IT industry, and am now committed to helping talented people find emotional relief and clarity in their personal and professional lives.
As a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals, and the Association for Contextual and Behavioural Science, I work with individuals and couples in a warm and supportive environment where clients are challenged to seek positive change and growth.
As a Certified Relational Life Therapist, my practice is rooted in the fundamental principles of adaptability and resilience, giving clients the necessary tools to manage the challenges of daily life, or to support them through an unexpected event.
I employ techniques from a number of different therapeutic modalities including approaches that are attachment and trauma-informed, like relational life therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (a 3rd wave cognitive behavioural therapy), as well as using more classic psychotherapeutic techniques. My full time practice focuses on helping individuals with burnout, depression, and anxiety, assisting clients in a process of emotional redefinition. I collaborate with clients, assisting them as they recalibrate their goals, both on a personal and professional level.
I also have a special interest in working with blended families and stepparents as building a new and blended family is a very unique and complex process. Click here to read my article in Stepparent Magazine.
If you are experiencing personal or professional challenges, I can work with you on an individual basis to identify the cause of the issues you are struggling with and create a strategy for you to reach your goal. Helping clients improve their ability to navigate complex life decisions and manage stress to avoid burnout are key elements of my full-time practice.
